    Default Posting VoIP service provider settings

    One thing that sets RF.com apart from other mobile Internet calling offerings is that we are service agnostic. This means that if a VoIP service uses existing standards and you have the requisite settings information at hand, you should be able to use RF.com and your service to make cheap international calls from your iPhone. But how do we know if a service is using the correct standards? And what settings do we need?

    Let's help each other out.

    There are thousands of different VoIP service providers around the world, many of which can be used with RF.com to make cheap international calls. There are also many that don't work.

    In this forum area, we can build a repository of information that anyone can use. If a service works, let others know the basics. Just enter a post by choosing either the "Settings" prefix, and then using the name of the service as the title.

    Then, in the body of the post, let us know the following:
    Code:
    1. Name of service (a link to the service provider nets you extra karma points);
    2. Proxy server address.
    That's it.

    Of course, a user will also need to know his or her user name and password. Don't share yours here!

    If a service doesn't work, enter a post choosing "Does Not Work" as the prefix, and the name of the service as the title. And, in the body of the post, tell us what you tried.

    Over time, this will become a good place to turn for those looking for a service to use with RF.com.
