It's actually not hard. Create an extension in Trixbox that will be used by your iPhone to make outgoing calls. Remember the user name and password for that extension.
Now, on your iPhone's mobile Safari, log on to RF.COM. Click the Settings icon on the bottom. Click "Calling Services". Click the "Add" button.
In the "Calling Service" pull down menu, select "Add Your Own". Enter whatever name you wish in the "Name" field ("Trixbox", for example). In the proxy field, enter the URL (or IP address of your Trixbox server. Enter the user name and password for the extension you set up in Trixbox in the appropriate boxes. Now click the "Add" button.
You should now see "Trixbox" (or whatever name you chose) listed among the services you can make your default calling service. By making it your default, your calls should now go through your Trixbox server (unless you choose a different calling service on the small pull down menu on tip of the RF dialer).
Please, let us know if this works for you.
Marcelo,
Thank you for the reply. I'll follow your instructions and post another reply to let you know if all worked as suggested.
Marcelo and everyone else,
This worked fine. Even though I mentioned Trixbox in my question, I am actually using PBX-In-A-Flash. I just figured that Trixbox would be more recognizable for anyone answering. PIAF is a much better alternative to a VoIP PBX than Trixbox. Plus, you don't have the Trojan horse that was recently discovered (http://www.trixbox.org/forums/trixbo...ox-phones-home).
Thanks again.
