We believe we have gotten the upper hand on issues related to the use of Edge with the iPhone and how AT&T may be caching data that have left some of you not fully registered with the RingFree service.
These are the symptoms: The user reaches the point of activating the telephone with our server by entering the 4 digit pin. The phone is, indeed, activated. The user is, however, presented with the error "Return status was not 200" and sent back to the front page of RF.COM after clicking OK.
If this describes your situation, from your iPhone, go back to
http://rf.com, and reattempt to register. If you are told that "this number has already been acvtivated" during the activation key entry process, enter the key anyway.
If you have not been asked to enter your name and desired password, your registration with RingFree is not complete. Please try again.
We do not believe those registering over WiFi have faces this error (please correct me if wrong).
