Can't make calls to AIM users

Whenever I call an AIM username, I get the following message:
“Please leave a message after the beep”, that is after the phone calls that (415) 294-2231 number.

I opened the AIM program from my PC and tried to call myself using the rf.com website via my iPhone, but I keep getting the message above.
I tried to use just the username in the first field and selecting AIM as my internet calling, and then tried to use the username@aol.com, but with no luck.
Is there anything that I am doing wrong?
I also never received my activation email when I first signed up with this form, so I wasn’t able to post a new thread. I had to create a new account with a different email address in order to send this message.

I am experiencing the similar problem with "Google Talk". When I am colling to "Google Talk" user from sell phone using rf.com the system is dialing and after 4-5 bips it is a prompt to leave the voicemail. Voice mail come to user promptly with good quality, but I was not able to establish the voice conversation with Google Talk user. The same Google talk user was able to establish voice and even video connection with other Google Talk users.
